I'm So Thankful To Be A Mother

Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a Mom but I never fully understand what it meant to be a mom til I was one. I now know all the sacrifices my own mom made on my behalf and all the times she told me something what she meant by it. I have been blessed with three beautiful healthy children here on earth and one precious baby in heaven that I will get to meet one day. I try to strive each day to enjoy the moments I have with my children. All the smiles, giggles, hugs, kisses,I love you Mommy, and stories told to me. I look at them and think how blessed I am that God chose me to be their mom out of all the moms he could have picked just as I'm sure you feel that way about each of your children. It's amazing how God gives us the love to love someone so completely and selfless as he does us yet its hard to fathom sometimes as much as we love our children he loves us more. What an Amazing God we serve.

I hope each of you today have thanked God for being a mom if you are and how precious each of those gifts are. I know I have.

Happy Mother's Day to my mom also. I am truly blessed to be your daughter. I love you.

Hi, thanks for the comment. I have been surprised by the number of visits I've had, since I was a week late in posting the pics. It's been fun "meeting" other bloggers through Kelly's blog.

I know where Bloomington is, it's not too far from where we are, about 1.5 hours. It's a college town, so I think there is a lot of good shopping there as well as restaurants. There are some bike/walking trails too. Really, the main attractions of Illinois are all in Chicago. Which, if you can get over there, even for a day, you would find tons to do! Shopping on Michigan Avenue, museums, aquarium, Millennium park, Sears tower, and of course great food.

I enjoy reading new blogs. I will visit again. Have fun visiting your husband. I'm sure you miss him.

Hey girlie! Jesse is in Panama City. I hope I spelled that right. Is that pretty close to you? I cant wait to hit the beach sometime this summer. Not sure when we will have the chance to go but I do hope we get there before the end of summer. Last year we stayed home the whole summer due to no funds....no fun. Are y'all close to the beach?

Just stopped by to tell you I saw your comment on Kelly's blog. thought I'd let you know I waited on solids with my 3rd and 4th babies til a year. Talk about people looking at me like I was nuts. They were so obviously healthy though that they really couldn't say I was doing anything wrong. I'm now expecting #5 and I'll do the same with him.

We thought we were done after 3 too (only b/c they came so fast, we originally wanted 4). But then 5.5 years after #3, #4 came and SURPRISE #5 will be here in October (2.5 yrs after #4)
SO yeah, it could happen!
