A Few Copy Cat Projects and Store Finds
I have seen tons of things over blogland that I so want to try to do myself but I thought I would start out simple and just do these two projects first. First I saw a cute laundry detergent jar holder made by Susie at Susie Harris Where Friends Become Family and then I saw a cute laundry definition sign made by Wendy at the The Shabby Nest. So here's my try at the projects.
Now for my finds. I found the cute little tray and lamp with my laundry detergent jar at Hobby Lobby for 50% off. I got both for $16. I am starting out slowly to redo my laundry room. Its painted a warm green moss color and I want to lighten the space up some with maybe a blue tone or a warm golden tone yet not real dark. I then want to paint the cabinets white I think and then just finish up with some more knick knacks for the space but its a start. Next I got this cute bird originally for my laundry room shelf but its too tall so its for now on my kitchen shelf above my cabinets. I have space all around my kitchen shelves that I really need to put things up there. I got the bird at TJMaxx and just had to have it for a whole $9. Then finally Saturday I was out for a family day with my husband and kids and came across this cute birds nest at Pier One for $4.95. I wish I had gotten more than 1. I also got this cute door bucket from Hobby Lobby for $5 it was 50% off also so I got some flower stuff from Joanns to put in it for my front door. I think it turned out pretty cute. So there you have it my few projects to start out making things more homey around here. All the blogs are making me want to shop and decorate 24/7. I love it though.

Happy 4 Months Ireland
Today Ireland Reeve is 4 months old. Where has the time gone already? I found out I was pregnant with Ireland a year ago this Valentines Day. What a great Valentines gift. We had previously had a miscarriage a few months before that and desperately wanted another baby. God granted our hearts desire and blessed us with sweet little Ireland. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are all just crazy over her. She's the best baby and so laid back and I'm so thankful to have been given her. I'm so blessed. We love you Ireland Reeve.

First Craft and Girls Room
I have been seeing these cute little Family frames all over blogland and loved them so I thought I would give it a try. I went to Joanns and got the Family magnet for it and saw they had a Princess one too so I decided to do one for the girls room also. So here they are. They're cute for my first craft ever really. What do you think?
So I put the princess one on Ireland's side since Ansley has a few things hung on her side. This is their room. It's pretty much done. I just want to get some tulle for Ansley's bed at the top to drape maybe, some curtains (maybe I'll try a Nester Mistreatment), and a rug. I want one more thing over Ireland's changing table also. Maybe a b/w photo of her and Ansley or all three kids or a shelf with hooks to hang one of each girls baby outfits on.
Walking into the girls room. See those two baskets on each side of the girls room. Do you think I should spray paint Ansleys white?
Ireland's side of the room. See what I mean about needing something over the changing table.
This frame is from Ansleys First Birthday. The top photo is her at a year and the bottom is her Birthday invitation with several pictures of her over that first year and then each guest signed the matte and then I framed it. It hangs over her dresser and is one of my favorite things in her room.
Ansleys side of the room. Her "Princess" bed that my in-laws brought back from up north and her dresser.
